Our newly revamped rope access training center is now open, our Covid-19 procedures are in place and we are focusing on keeping everyone safe whilst giving the best training.
When arriving for training you will head straight for unit 2 where you will have your temperature checked using a handheld non-contact infrared thermometer. This will be carried out each morning before entering.
Hand sanitizing stations are available at each entry point to the building, these are to be used whenever you enter or exit as a minimum.
The training center has been renovated to an open plan area, allowing for the recommended 2-meter distance. Face masks are not mandatory as social distancing should be maintained but can be worn if individuals chose to.
Gloves will be issued and must be worn during practical exercises. Each trainee will be issued with a rope kit for their use only during the week. All equipment/desks will be thoroughly disinfected prior to use.
Any rescues will be trained and assessed using dummies and appropriate weight.
We look forward to seeing you all, stay safe.
